Private kennel\/ranch home has an immediate opening part \u2013 full time (weekdays, weekends and some holidays) Kennel Assistant. We are looking for a mature, hardworking, responsible, reliable, trustworthy person to join our team in providing top quality care to our dogs. We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals. No experience needed. Will train if you\u2019re willing to learn. Pay options are cash or 1099.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

• Reliability & availability<\/li>\n
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.<\/li>\n
• Work well individually and as part of a team<\/li>\n
• Work outside & inside<\/li>\n
• multi task and be detail oriented<\/li>\n
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions & willingness to learn, follow instructions and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities<\/li>\n
• Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of dog food or dogs (could exceed 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks<\/li>\n
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed, as well as occasional overtime.<\/li>\n
• Have own transportation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  <\/a>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

  Will include but not limited to: Working closely with the kennel owner and other kennel assistants to manage the care of intelligent working dogs.<\/p>\n

  • Cleaning\/disinfecting kennels & outside areas using hoses and spray bottles of disinfectant.<\/li>\n
  • Sweeping, moping kennels & all office areas, restroom. As well as deep cleaning. As well as dog laundry or cleaning dishes.<\/li>\n
  • Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility, including feeding, watering & letting out dogs.<\/li>\n
  • Dog and puppy poop scooping.<\/li>\n
  • Comfortable administering medications when required or needed<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment<\/li>\n
  • Ability to handle dogs and other animals safely and effectively<\/li>\n
  • Can get stuff done quick and efficiently and thrive in the environment while maintaining attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
